The APOA State Board of Directors meets each legislative session to review pre-filed bills which may impact Alaska law enforcement. The board discusses each bill during the review and decides whether to support, oppose, or take no action on each bill provided by the APOA legislative committee. To take any action (write a letter and/or testify on behalf of APOA) requires unanimous decision by the board.
